What makes a book real
Most “personalized” children's books today are one template, printed thousands of times, with the kid's name pasted in. The hero looks like a stock-art cousin. The plot is the same rainbow march toward a moral that doesn't belong to anyone in particular.
We don't do that. Every Adventures Of book is written from a blank page, around the actual interests of the actual kid on the cover — dinosaurs, gymnastics, dachshunds, whatever it is. The illustrations are trained on the photos you upload, then the photos are deleted. The hero looks like your kid because they are your kid.
The book that comes out is a small, handcrafted thing. It will be read three nights in a row. It will get a dog-ear. That's the whole point.
From first photo to finished book, usually faster than dinner takes to cook.
Clear, front-facing shots of your child's face.
They teach the illustrations what your kid looks like — then we delete them the moment the book is finished. Nothing is kept.
Name, age, what they love, what to leave out.
Five answers shape the whole plot. Obsessed with dinosaurs but afraid of the dark? The story leans into one and quietly respects the other.
Cartoon energy or classic storybook.
Both are tuned for parents who want a book that feels made, not generated.

“She gasped when she saw the cover, then made us read it three times in a row. The hero looks like her — actually like her, not a cartoon copy.”
“I expected a slick template. I got an actual one-of-a-kind story about my son and his dinosaur obsession. Worth way more than $14.99.”
“My grandkids live across the country. Sending them each their own book was the best gift idea I've had in years.”
Other services use templates — same story, different name. We use AI to write a completely original story based on your child's specific interests and personality. The illustrations actually look like your child, not a generic cartoon.
Upload 2–3 clear, well-lit photos of your child's face. Front-facing photos work best. The AI uses these to create illustrations where the character looks like your kid. We delete the photos as soon as the illustrations are finished.
About 3–5 minutes from start to finished book. The story generates in seconds, and the 13 illustrations take a few minutes. You'll see live progress as each page is created.
Yes. The PDF is 300 DPI, 8.5″×8.5″ — perfect for home printing or sending to a print service. We also offer a hardcover upsell at checkout that we print and ship for you through Lulu.
Yes. The AI calibrates the reading level based on your child's age — from simple toddler language to chapter-style stories for older kids. You can also specify things to avoid (fears, sensitivities) and the story respects them.
Photos are stored securely during generation, used only to create your book's illustrations, and automatically deleted as soon as the illustrations are finished. Your child's description is also deleted from our database after generation. Nothing is shared, sold, or used to train any model.
