Does it work for newborns?
Yes. You can order before the baby is born — just list the parent's planned name and upload ultrasound or newborn photos later (or use stock newborn photos and replace later). Most people order closer to the first birthday.
What photos work best for baby illustrations?
Front-facing, well-lit, no hats or sunglasses. One clear photo is enough; two or three gives the AI a better read on the baby's features.
Can I gift it through a baby registry?
We're not on Amazon or Target's registry systems yet, but you can email the gift recipient the PDF or ship a physical copy directly to their address. Both options are at checkout.
Is the content age-appropriate for babies?
The AI is calibrated to avoid any scary content at young ages, and you can list specific things to avoid (loud sounds, separation anxiety plots, etc.). The story is always gentle.
How durable is the hardcover?
The hardcover print uses case-bound binding with a laminated cover — the same construction as a standard children's hardcover book. It survives normal use but is not a board book, so it's best for 1+ rather than tiny hands still in the "chew everything" phase.
